1. Who we are
This website is operated by YOUR LEGAL BUSINESS NAME (“we”, “us”, “our”), trading as EduShine Digital Store, of YOUR REGISTERED BUSINESS ADDRESS.
We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any question about it, contact us at YOUR_SUPPORT_EMAIL.
If you are a sole trader without a registered company: use your own name and a contact address you are willing to publish. In several countries a trader selling to consumers is legally required to give a real postal address, not only an email address.
2. What information we collect
We collect only what is needed to sell and deliver digital products.

Payment information
We never see or store your card details. Payments are processed by Razorpay, who collects your payment information directly on their own systems. We receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with your name, email address and the order reference. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policy.
Information we do not collect
- We do not ask for or store passwords — this site has no customer accounts.
- We do not collect payment card numbers, bank details or identity documents.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children (see section 9).
Check this list against reality. Delete any row you do not actually collect, and add anything you do. A privacy policy that overstates what you collect is as much of a problem as one that understates it.
3. How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- deliver the digital product you purchased and give you access to your download;
- send transactional messages such as receipts, download links and order updates;
- respond to support requests and resolve problems with a purchase;
- process refunds where our Refund Policy applies;
- send marketing emails, only if you asked us to (see section 5);
- keep accounting and tax records as required by law;
- detect and prevent fraud or misuse of our products.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
4. Our legal basis for using your information
If you are in the UK, the EU, or another region with equivalent law, we rely on the following legal bases:

Analytics and cookies: in the UK and EU, non-essential cookies and similar tracking generally require consent collected through a cookie banner before the tracking script runs. This website ships with no analytics and no cookies. If you add a tracking tool, you must update section 6 and, in most cases, add a consent banner.
5. Marketing emails
We only send marketing emails to people who signed up for them. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. You can also email YOUR_SUPPORT_EMAIL and ask to be removed.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional messages about a purchase you have already made, such as your receipt or download link.
Our email list is managed by YOUR EMAIL PROVIDER — e.g. Mailchimp, ConvertKit, Brevo, who store your name and email address on our behalf.
8. How long we keep your information
- Order records: for as long as required by tax and accounting law in YOUR COUNTRY — commonly between five and seven years.
- Support emails: YOUR PERIOD — e.g. 24 months after the conversation ends.
- Marketing list: until you unsubscribe, or until the list is cleaned of inactive addresses.
When we no longer need information, we delete it or anonymise it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, certain uses of your information;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we relied on consent;
- receive your information in a portable format;
- complain to your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these, email YOUR_SUPPORT_EMAIL. We will respond within the time limit set by the law that applies to you — one month under UK and EU GDPR.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights: you will still get the same products at the same prices.
Children
Our products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under AGE — e.g. 16, OR AS REQUIRED WHERE YOU TRADE. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. How we protect your information
This website is served over HTTPS, and we limit access to order and customer information to the people who need it. We rely on established providers for payment processing and hosting, each with their own security measures.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Where a change is significant, we will tell people on our email list.
